Dee Black is a retired minister of the Gospel and has pastored churches in Texas and Louisiana throughout his 60 years in the ministry. He was born in East Texas and grew up in the Lufkin area. After God called him to preach in 1960, he attended Jacksonville Baptist College, East Texas State University in Commerce, and then graduated from Stephen F. Austin University in 1974 with a Bachelor of Science Degree in Psychology and a Minor in Journalism. He and his wife DJ have two grown children and five grandchildren.
